According to Innova Market Insights, launches of peanut flavoured sports bars are steadily increasing. In H2 2017 – H2 2018. Innova found peanut butter to be amongst the top 5 flavours in protein bars, alongside the classics: milk chocolate, caramel, coconut and vanilla.

Natural nut free peanut and hazelnut flavours have historically been extremely difficult to replicate but due to a development in raw materials and our scientific expertise, our flavourists have created a ‘true to type’ natural nut free collection. After various Sensory tests carried out by the Applications team, the ‘ultimate peanut’ flavouring is a combination of roasted, fatty and creamy notes, suited for the sports nutrition and bakery marketplace.
