Warehouse Picker

We are seeking a Warehouse Picker to join the Production team, this position would suit an energetic person with great attention to detail and an excellent communicator, who has experience with warehouse operations and food production. We are looking for a confident team player who can work on their own initiative as well as covering the day-to-day requirements of a fast-paced environment.

We are a rapidly growing, vibrant company producing food flavourings and seasonings for snacks, for customers across the UK and European Food Markets. The ethos of both companies is based around outstanding service coupled with providing our customers with creative solutions and innovations.
Scope of the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated person who is task focused, has a positive outlook and good attention to detail.
Duties include:
- Liaise with operations & quality departments to understand what is available to be despatched & the daily status
- Pick finished product & prepare in line with customer orders
- Re-label finished product in line with company procedure
- Re-label & prepare product in line with customer orders.
- Operate semi-automated wrapping machine
- Picking & compounding
- Receiving goods in, booking in to stock & storing in correct location.
- General cleaning & housekeeping duties
Requirements
- Maths and English language are required (written and verbal)
- Excellent time management skills with a flexible approach to your work.
- Current Counterbalance Forklift Licence preferable, bur training can be provided.
- Full Right to Work in the UK
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Ability to lift weights of up to 25KG
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence
- Full Right to Work in the UK

8.00 am – 4.45pm Mon- Thurs 8.00am – 12:15pm Friday Including a paid lunch break |

21 in subsequent holiday years 22 days in subsequent 5th holiday year 3 days for Christmas shutdown Plus bank holidays |
