Finance Administrator (Part-Time)

We are recruiting for a Finance Administrator Part-Time to join our Finance Team working at our Clevedon site.

Scope of the Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Finance Administrator to join the Finance Team. This position would suit an energetic person with great attention to detail and an excellent communicator, who has some experience in bookkeeping. We are looking for a confident team player who can work on their own initiative as well as covering the day-to-day requirements of a fastpaced
environment. We are looking for a highly motivated person who is task focused and has a positive outlook to work, to provide excellent support to the Finance Manager and her team. Duties for this role include:

  • Data entry within Accounts Receivable
  • Data entry within Accounts Payable
  • Dealing with customer and supplier queries
  • General administration including filing


  • Experienced in the use of accounting software, preferably SAP B1
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office and Outlook, including Word and Excel and experience in the use of accounting software
  • The ability to maintain paper and electronic records
  • Excellent time management skills with a flexible approach to work
  • GCSE or equivalent at Grade B or above in Maths and English / Maths and English language are required (written and verbal)
  • Excellent time management skills with a flexible approach to work
  • Clean UK Driving Licence


Role: Finance Administrator Part-Time
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Gross Salary: Competitive Salary, available on application
Location: Unit 11 Windmill Business Park, Windmill Rd, Kenn, Clevedon, North Somerset BS21 6SR
Hours of Work: 15 Hours [5 days x 3 hours] no lunch break or
16 Hours [4 days x 4 hours] no lunch break or
15 Hours [3 days x 5 hours] no lunch break
Pension: Auto-enrolment Pension Scheme
Healthcare: WPA Healthcare NHS Top-up Scheme effective on successful completion of your probationary period.
Death in Service Policy: Death in Service policy of twice basic salary, payable on death whilst employed by the Company, which includes access to the Help@Hand Benefits Scheme (only eligible up to State Pension Age)

Holidays: 5 weeks plus bank holidays in first year of service (pro-rata)
5.2 weeks plus bank holidays after two years’ service*
5.6 weeks plus bank holidays after five years’ service*
6 weeks plus bank holidays after ten years’ service*
3 days entitlement must be taken for Christmas shutdown
Entitlement increased at the beginning of the holiday year following the service anniversary
Probationary Period: 3 months
Notice: During the first four years of continuous employment not less than one month’s notice;
For each subsequent year of service one week’s additional notice (up to a maximum of twelve weeks).
